For those of you waiting for puppy updates…the birds of prey litter has landed after a long, complicated labor!

The first puppy, a black and white boy, arrived at 12:36 AM this morning. Unfortunately, the second puppy was absolutely huge and despite attempts at medical management based on ultrasound and finger exam, got lodged in the pelvic canal and didn’t make it. The final two puppies, a red sable girl and black tricolor girl, arrived via c-section around 10 AM today. All three surviving babies and mom are doing great.
